Beautiful Places: Mackinac Island, Michigan

I stayed at the Island House with my girlfriends for a fun bachelorette weekend.  It happened to be the same weekend as the Republican Leadership Convention which made things interesting!  We had a blast - riding bikes, picnicking, rocking out with our boom box, and drinking wine. 

It also went over surprisingly well when my friends started calling former U.S. Republican Representative, Peter Hoekstra, "SAILOR."  Mackinac Island can be a little stuffy in general, but we had a wonderful girls weekend.  It was everything we hoped it would be!
